In the heart of Norway, between the mountain landscapes of Jotunheimen and the green valleys of Valdres, you will find some of the country’s finest opportunities for hiking, cycling and winter adventures.

Jotunheimen Travel is a local tour operator specialising in active holidays in Jotunheimen, Valdres and the surrounding mountain regions. We arrange both self-guided and guided journeys, ranging from shorter stays and day trips to multi-day tours through the mountains.

Explore the mountains at your own pace
Our hiking holidays take you along well-known routes such as Besseggen, Svartdalen and the Historical Hiking Route in Jotunheimen. You can walk from lodge to lodge, climb some of Norway’s most iconic peaks or combine mountain hikes with scenic boat journeys across Bygdin and Gjende. For cyclists, we offer carefully planned journeys along Mjølkevegen and other scenic routes through Valdres and Jotunheimen. Quiet gravel roads, traditional summer farms, mountain lakes and comfortable lodges make the region particularly well suited for a cycling holiday. During winter, you can experience the mountains on cross-country skis, snowshoes or aboard our historic snowcoaches between Tyin and Eidsbugarden.
